You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. Comment 2 Red Hat Bugzilla I really want to upgrade to F11, but I can't afford to lose the system and have to start over again. In order to adapted F10 work in this configuration, I have to modify adzptec.
I know that F11 probably doesn't even use mkinitrd during the boot but has some new mechanism.
