PS I tried the driver. I've the same problem,my canon bjc doesn't work at all with windows xp I have an bjc that i have used about a dozen times, still has the original cartridges in it. I am planning on buying an HP as well to compare the two printers. I just can't believe that an HP printer from years ago is compatible with Windows XP and a printer like this which is less than two years old isn't.
